I’m still climbing the ladder of success, are you?
Hey, it’s me Sally Neill… remember… I used to blog lol.
I am still here, climbing up that ladder of success (one rung at a time) just not blogged much lately – sorreeeeeee.
Sooooooo now that all the spammy comments, blatant backlinks and trashy trackbacks left on my blog are deleted it’s back to business
This wont be a long post… gotta break myself in gently ha ha.
Been a hectic few months for me so the lil faithful blog has been neglected again.
But… the neglected blog has been for a good cause… to help my LWS students in their online journey and grow LWS.
That’s another Goal ticked – Live coaching done and dusted.
Have to say I enjoyed live coaching, kinda got in a routine.
But like all good things come to an end, as does my live group coaching experiences (for now)
I think LWS was a big “hit” as my students seemed to love the course (got lots of FAB testimonials to prove it too)
AND…
I got TONS of really lovely messages from marketers (I highly respect) congratulating me on a “job well done” with the LWS coaching.
One of my fav messages was from Stephanie Mulac, put it below for ya cos it made me smile:

When I began my Marketing With Alex 3.0 coaching one of the bonus Las Vegas Seminar videos by Stephanie helped me get my blog “going” again way back in 2010 – always be super grateful for that.
So all in all… I have to say I am really really pleased with the outcome of LWS
Now I am pretty sure you will know about most of my “successful students” as they been kicking ass online and been super productive.
But there are some other students who are still “chipping” away at success at their own pace too (which is cool, slow and steady can win the race)
My training was kinda “full-on” and by that I mean I squeezed in a lot over a short space of time.
I guess everyone works at their own pace and does what they can with the time they have.
Been kinda weird actually, because not every student was the same.
- Some students were very active blogging & blog hopping – but some weren’t.
- Some students were very active in our LWS Facebook Group – but some weren’t.
- Some students attended every single live webinar – but some didn’t (one never attended ANY)
- Some students completed all the training in order – others skipped modules or done in a diff order.
I had a wide variety of students tbh.
Sociable and Solitary Students
This is kinda strange to me, as I am such a friendly type person, but some students just didn’t wanna socialize with their fellow students lol.
I set up a facebook group so students could help each other with accountability and support etc, but some students never joined.
I set up a page inside the members area to list the students blogs, but again some students didn’t want their blog added.
I guess, yet again, I can’t force students to be sociable if they don’t want to.
(Shame really, because the support they would have received would have been invaluable)
Fast action takers / slow action takers / no action takers!
Like I said you will no doubt have seen my fast action taking students (they did a fab job of blogging about their journey)
I also have some students who are a little behind the fast action takers, but still chipping away at the training at their own pace will keep you updated on their progress too.
And I have students who wish to remain anonymous for whatever reason(?)
But, and this saddens me, I had no action takers, students who took ZERO ACTION.
This really really REALLY ate away at me.
I know if students follow the training they will move forward, but I had to wrestle with my conscience on this and finally come to the realization that I simply cannot force students to take action if they don’t want to or can’t.
Don’t get me wrong I tried my best… offered personal emails, skype chats etc.
Not really sure what more I could have done??? (but those students know I am here for them when they do decide to take action)
That was the only downside to the LWS coaching that I encountered… I wanted EVERYONE TO BE A SUPER SUCCESS!
But you cant force students to take action, life gets in the way, personal problems crop up and students cannot always complete training for whatever reason (I just hope one day they return to the training and follow it)
So if you intend to hold coaching yourself in the future, remember that as a Coach there is only so much you can do, and the rest is up to your student(s)
By that I mean, you can create the best course in the world – but if the people who buy it don’t take action – don’t take it personally.
I guess, I just have to remember that the students who took action, seen some fabulous results and know that had the other students done the same, they too could have achieved that.
What’s next for Sally?
That’s a tough question, I kinda achieved all my goals – H.E.L.P!
But first things first… the full Learn With Sally replay package will be my next focus (currently selling modules in batches)
What about Learn with Sally 2.0???
You know what…
I learned so much from my first live coaching, much more than I could ever have imagined, I am grateful for the opportunity and although I have been asked many times … will there be a LWS 2.0?
The answer is no, not likely. Been there. Done that. Wore the tshirt (actually did have a LWS tshirt lol)
I don’t have any current plans to launch coaching in that format again.
However I did launch 1 on 1 coaching at $97 a week (only currently available to LWS students) so I am super excited to be starting this new chapter with the people who accessed it.
So as you can see, I am still a busy beaver and not cruising up Easy Street just yet, although I am creeping closer every day
That’s pretty much my update for this week.
I hope your own online business is growing super fast and you are striding towards success online, because I truly believe:
YOU CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING YOU WANT ONLINE IF YOU TAKE THE STEPS AND ACTION REQUIRED!!!
C yaaaaaaaaaaaa
Sally “Happy To Be Blogging Again” Neill
ps. Just wanna say thank you to the students who placed their trust in me, followed my training and took ACTION – YOU ROCK… Keep Pushing Forward… FAST!

I have to say a million “thank you’s” and then some for your amazing Learn With Sally coaching. I’m glad you’ve tagged me as one of the action takers as I feel like I’ve made such an incredible amount of progress since starting your course.
In fact now that the coaching is over (boooo!) I shall be going back through all the modules and refreshing my knowledge in all those areas to make myself into a better marketer.
Seriously, the amount of information that you shared with us was simply incredible, and I owe so much to you for being such a fantastic teacher!

Hi Sally
Or can I use your new online name … “Super Duper brilliant Coach”!
Words cannot express what your coaching has meant to me Sally; it has taken my Internet Marketing to a whole new level. It is without doubt the best decision I have ever made since I started out online … Fact!
Social Media
Videos
Blogging – (Even a new blog)
Interviews
to name but a few, you gave us it all!
From beginning to the very sad end it has truly been amazing I have loved every second of it. When you said prior to the start “we were in for the ride of our lives” you were not kidding where you!
I would highly recommend to anybody that they snap up the LWS Replays the content is fantastic and guaranteed to get you the results you desire … as long as you take the action!
I am so sad that you will not be doing LWS 2.0, but at the same time I have every reason to be happy what with the 1 on 1 coaching in the New Year
Sally I’ll leave with a line from one of my favourite artist’s songs … “You’re Simply the Best” (TT)

Awww I love that song if you mean the Tina Turner one that is.
You were a super student Ian, I hardly knew you that well before the coaching but I feel like I really know you now.
You just needed a lil nudge in the right direction and to face a few fears and you then you off like a shot (like so many of the other students)
I have to say that the LWS Live 25 made the coaching a wonderful experience for me, you helped me achieve my dreams of helping others move forward online and learn new skills, without you guys (n gals) I don’t think I would have enjoyed it so much as I did.
I am really looking forward to working with you on a one to one basis, I think it will be fantastic as you are defo an action taker whom I know can make a big impact online, like me… you care about the success of others and that’s a fab quality and mindset to have.
Bet your all packed now for your holiday so I hope you have a wonderful time, and a big rest, cos it will be back to business when ya get home.

I soooo should have taken your training, Sally. Sadly I signed up with another training programme before you launched yours that ran at exactly the same time each week and knew I couldn’t do them both as being part of the live events is really important to me. You are right, there are action takers and those who just wear the tshirt! I am loving the replays and if anyone needs to know how good they are email me, I’ll tell you how much difference just having those has made to me and my business so far.

I am glad you are enjoying the replays, it’s nice to know that even if the coaching isn’t live then it can still push people forward.
Thats very kind of you to offer to speak to anyone considering the replays, I am sure they can hop on over to your blog and use the contact button to get some insider info lol.

You should not to worry about the people who didn’t take action sometimes some people just bit slower and may look like not taking action but its not.

Yes I did worry about them though, kinda seen it as a bit of a failure on my part, but having spoke to the students I realized that there are many reasons each didn’t take action, and that many of them intend to return to the training and take action in the new year.
So I guess I maybe worried a little too early lol.

Hey Sally, my super uber-cool and awesome coach/mentor
Hope are is well and that you are currently taking a well deserved rest (not too long though!!! lol)
It was so wonderful to hear your insight from the other side of the coaching course, and as student of yours and like others have mentioned, I too would have no hesitation in recommending Learn With Sally, and hush hush it was the only coaching course where I didn’t fall asleep during the webinar (the ones that I could attend), and the only course that I stayed till the end.
But yeah LWS 2.0…. like Jacinta said, you can’t rule it out as you never know since the IM Niche and online in general evolves so quickly that you constantly have to keep your eyes on the ball for new and upcoming strategies. That is unless Nikki has kindly lent you her crystal ball or you have developed telekenesis powers where you can predict them in advance lol!!!
Anyway, thanks again Sally for everything, I would have taken the personal coaching offer that you were offering, but as you know I just have too many things going on at the moment both offline and online, so unfortunately have to pass it this time.
Such as shame to hear that some students did not take any action or remained anonymous, although I can still remember myself being the latter type for it not have been your encouragement and teaching us all to embrace our fears as well as the support of the other LWS Student, I might be still hiding in the background lol.
Anyway Sally, thanks again a million and more and infinity for everything that you have taught me and the other dtudents, your magic has touched and helped us all to improve our lives for the better. Looking forward to hearing and seeing what you do next!!!

Hi Sally,
I can’t thank you and Jade (my lucky mascot) enough for the prize I won. Your coaching has been simply fantastic and has got me moving in so many areas that i hadn’t even thought of exploring.
I can honestly say that I learnt something in every module and in some modules everything was a new lesson. You have taken me to a new level of Internet Marketing and although the coaching has stopped
my journey continues.
I’m going to make you so proud Sally, I really am
You’ve taught me loads of new skills and showed me how to improve on some that i had already. I thought I knew about blogging and how to apply myself but I learnt about some simple mistakes I had been making right from the off and once i had corrected them i started to really see the way to blog and the benefits are now coming my way.
Yes the coaching was intense, but it was easy to follow and showed us everything we needed to do to achieve success, all we had to do was follow your videos and of course apply what was taught.
As I said in my very first face the camera video, Learn With Sally is My Only Recommendation for 2011.
Your teaching method, together with your personality, and your encouragement has had all of your active students facing their fears and turning them around. All of our blogs have detailed those fears and how we have overcome them and that is all thanks to you!!
It is a shame that some didn’t follow through with the course Sally, but remember the age old saying “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink”. Don’t let the lack of action from some people get you down Sally, as I’ve said your training was simply fantastic. People only need to visit the blogs of the action takers to see that for themselves.
Luck really was on my side when Jade drew my name out of the DAZ box, I never for a minute thought that so much would be included in the course.
You’ve done a fantastic job Sally and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sally Neill YOU Rock!!! Thanks for everything
Respect and Regards,
Barry

Hi Sally,

Must confess I’m one of your students who hasn’t taken action, but you know why that is.
Life has a habit of getting in the way and things certainly changed for me as soon as I signed up for the course.
However, there is light at the end of the tunnel, as they say, so will be listening into the replays fairly soon.
If I don’t manage to get through them this year, going through them again will certainly be top of my New Year resolutions!
Although I have no plans to focus on blogging, the quality and variety of your training in other areas will certainly help me climb my own personal ladder, especially the video production.
Will contact you next week, if that’s okay, to get that follow up interview.
It will be interesting to have the “before” and “after”, even though you’ve pretty much summed up how you feel in this post.

Hey Sally
Not surprised you haven’t had time to blog with all the awesome training you’ve been providing us.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the people that didn’t take the action as you’ve basically handed Online Success on a plate…
It’s up to people to decide if they want to take it or not.
If they are serious – they’ll take the action steps needed to get where they want to be.
If they’re not – then they’ll do nothing, make excuses and wander why it’s working for everyone else and not them.
Your enthusiasm, passion and motivation in your training really shined through and inspired me to take action and that’s a really REALLY special quality to have…
When I joined Learn With Sally I said to myself no matter what Sally tells me to do – I’m gonna do every single thing.
(Don’t care how scary it is OR how hard it will be)
I’d seen you face up to your fears and what success you’d got by doing it…
And I knew you would make me face up to mine and boy did I have a lot of fears to face…
But thanks to you, we got there and I now feel I can achieve whatever I want to achieve!
What I liked the most about your coaching is that you showed us how to build relationships with our blog readers, subscribers and other marketers right from the start…
And that is so sooooooooooo important because people are not going to buy your products or buy a product you promote as an affiliate if they don’t know you, like you and trust you!
And if you haven’t built relationships with other marketers then your not going to be able to get affiliates to promote your product either!
So thanks Sally for giving me the skills I needed to move my business forward.
I’ve loved every minute of it and learnt more from you in 12 weeks than I have in 3 years of being online…
Your coaching is simply the best (has Ian ben watching my video testimonial ha ha)

I do hope that you do LWS 2.0 and I guess that there will be a lot of calls for that. I think that it’s a fact of life that people move at different speeds. Those who bought LWS and didn’t do anything with it will maybe take action later. I have learned that people take action when they are ready. They have to make that decision. One day you just decide this is it and you just do it.

It’s been a long time I posted anything over here since MWA3.0 with you, Anna Haller and some others in our group. But I do visit your blog every once in a while..(can’t help it, but be cheered up by your writing
)
Congratulations on your recently concluded LWS.
I was reading up on your post above about the many types of students you’ve got and I guess, I must be one of those not too sociable…ha ha.. I remembered not being too active in our MWA forum.
So here’s my two cents:
The not too sociable ones like me may seem to be slow action or no action takers, but we definitely go through the work just like everybody else on the golden list.
Perhaps we are just not cut out for blogging. I believe we need to identify what we do best, which suits us for the long term.
As for blogging, I ran out of things to write about after a couple of months and couldn’t keep up with the postings. Instead, I discovered that I’m more well versed in website flipping or running ecommerce sites. I had to pick and choose which of the marketing ways works best for me with the time I have and leave the rest to somebody else, ie. a business partner, a virtual assistant, an SEO service.
However, I do want to stress that at least I tried almost all of the marketing techniques we learnt in MWA and so should all of your students. Weren’t we told to Fail Forward Fast by Alex Jeffreys?
There are many ways one can build a business via online/internet. Try the methods. That’s how one knows if one is not cut out for a certain way of marketing on the internet.
Finally, I can see that our “hero” Marcus Passey is doing well with Warrior Forum’s WSOs. He’s gone some ways too.

Hey Lorita, ahhhh see that’s the main reason people quit blogging because they run out of things to write about.
When I started blogging, that’s kinda what made me face my fears, so I would have something to write about ha ha!
Yep Alex did say fail forward fast, and I have certainly had many failures as I am sure you have too, but we just keep pushing past it.
That’s great that you have found something you enjoy doing online, I know ZILCH about website flipping but I hope it’s profitable for you.
Yes Marcus is lovely, and was out HERO and it’s lovely to see him doing so well with his WSOs, really genuine guy and I wish him massive success online.
Really nice to hear from you again, please stay in touch and keep me updated on your online ventures, us MWA students gotta stick together right????
Catch ya later

Hi Sally@The great coach (as you are called by your students)!
It is good to see you back blogging. With the feedback that you have got, I would love to hear more about your experiences in online group training. I would also love to get benefits from the super duper coach:-)
Thanks,

Sally,
I just want to say that I love LWS. As you know I am taking with the replays. I need to purchase the second part from Dawn.
I really wish I would of taken the live course as that would of kept me accountable. Doing it at my own pace I don’t always get it done.
It is a great course though and have learned allot. I also learned allot from everyone who took the course and blogged about it.
I admire you for what you have done.

There is no need to struggle on alone though, come into the FB Group, you know everyone in there will kick your butt and make you accountable, but in a nice way lol.
Yep the students are becoming the teachers lol, I am really pleased about that because people joining LWS in the future will have some great people to get help and advice from too.
Come in the FB Group, we can all help ya focus!

Hey Sally,
It was amazing to read your summary on your experience from your first formal coaching.
It gives me a lot of insights on what to expect for when I’m done with my own trainings.
To be brutally honest, I already knew that not everyone takes action and sadly, there are people that won’t even see their first lesson after buying a coaching program.
It goes beyond my understanding but it does happen.
Right now I am enrolled in a $497 marketing program and MANY people have not even taken their first class (we’re at module 12 already)
I have also enrolled on my first $1000 personal coaching and even though we are just three students at that level, we are supposed to “make it big” in order to prepare our mentor for 5k coachings.
I don’t have a clue if we’re going to be able to pull this off to be honest haha but I’m sure going to put my heart and soul to it.
I think it would have been fun to participate in your coaching, you have amazing comments here and I’m pretty sure you’re one darn good teacher.
My only recommendation would be “never say never!” and take care of those who decided to take their coaching to the next level.
Work with the workers!
Have fun and take care.

Hey Sergio, yes it is very sad that people make purchases and never take any action, but I guess all we can do is try various methods to keep encouraging them to take action.
Very best of luck with your own coaching, sounds like you are having a ball so thats the main thing.
And congrats on taking the steps to have a more personal mastermind / mentor type coaching too, I shall be cheering you on to the 5k so let me know how ya get on!
Work with workers – I like that
But I will still keep giving the people who took action a lil nudge too ha ha.
Best of luck, and thanks for popping over and leaving a comment, very kind of ya

Well done, Sally!
from another MWA3.0 student.
Yep – I’m one of those who find it takes all my time to do my blog and the tasks set and don’t have a load of time to be sociable – but you are right – that the support of fellow students in invaluable.
Glad you had such a success with LWS.
Best of luck with your 1-to-1 coaching and beyond

Yep, you sooooooooo gotta make time to be sociable, you really really do, so set a lil time aside and make sure you do that everyday, the help you can get from others really does make a big difference.
Plus I just get so many people visiting my blog, reading my ebooks and watching my videos thanks to recommendations from other people kind enough to shout them out, gets me more traffic than I could ever get all by myself lol.
I enjoyed LWS and I am sure I will enjoy the 1on1 too, just gotta wait and see!
Hope you got your video presentations all sorted now and be sure to let me have a sneaky peak when they are finished.

Sally, I tried to add a comment via my mobile. I wrote a whole paragraph but I forgot to add my email and my comment didn’t save. So I took a huff.
Anyway, I basically said that I would probably not have interviewed John Thornhill had I not had a great introduction to interviewing from your good self. A lot has changed since then but I really enjoyed the experience.
I’m still climbing too, I’m just taking a bit longer. I also have an ankle biter to take up all my spare time. I don’t mind since he’s a wee smasher but it is causing my business to suffer.
Anyway, hope to chat soon or bump into you at a petrol station.
All the best,
David

Yep, we shall chat soon, and no doubt bump into each other someday soon,

Welcome back to blogging and so happy to hear that your training went well – I knew it would!
I am slowly digging my way too – so many obstacles have held me back – I really – so badly, want to get finishing what I started and have other ideas as well.
After all this time of not really being productive, I have actually learned and been listening to people and writing down their needs and so forth and they all seem to be the same – so it makes it easy for me to figure out what to do next – now to just DO IT!
I did overcome one of my biggest obstacles, which you will see on my ComLuv link – woohoo!! I was super excited that I did it and I have enjoyed making videos and want to make lots more!
So, here is to a happy and PROSPEROUS 2012, Sally!
Hope to catch up with you soon!

Every now and then, I come across bloggers who mentions you and your coaching. They have wonderful things to say about you and I can see that as well from the comments. It must have been an amazing program!
I would have liked to have participated in that. I’ll probably be one of the slow action takers. But there will be progress, however slow.
Just like you, I’m still climbing the ladder of success, still at the very bottom rung but I will get there eventually.
Hope to see you at the top!

Hi Sally, and Happy NY 2012!
I love reading your blog and seeing what you get up to and I have a new trendy blog of my own now about Success Mindset. I think it’s all too easy to view every journey to success as an increasingly upward path so sometimes we need to pause, turn around, enjoy the view, and relish how far we’ve come already.
I have done a lot of hill walking in Wales, well, all the hills are mountains and it seems you walk upwards all day but now and again you pause, look around and see the marvellous view, and it spurs you on until you reach a peak – then you can see all the higher peaks around you! I always think life is like this too.
What have you got planned for 2012 I wonder? I’m planning to write 4 paperback books about business, marketing, and success mindset this year, and sell them on amazon! Just for the buzz really. It’s nice to have new projects to look ahead to, isn’t it?
Have fun and keep blogging – we need to read you

How’s it going girl?
Wow! Congrats on your successful coaching course…it’s really a great acheivement and I’m proud of you.
Completely agree that you can’t force people to take action…you did your best to motivate your students and the rest is up to them.
To answer your question…I’m not so much climbing the ladder of success – more like stuck on the second rung right now
. I keep on changing direction and things have been pretty tough lately, but I’m a tough cookie and will bounce back.
Gonna resurrect my blog soon so watch this space….
Best wishes

PS
I know you’re a busy beaver Sally, but I’m sure that I’m not the only one who would love to see a few more blog posts from you.
Coaching really pays. If you are serious about learning you can always get lot of benefits. One thing should be kept in mind about coaching. It does provide you the basic guidelines but you are the one who has to take initiative in right direction.
I am very glad that you provide coaching for those who need it. Haha, it’s funny that some of the students didn’t want to socialize with other students. Well, that’s why we have social networking websites. Were they shy?
I know that people are going to miss your live group coaching but you have to change it up and do other things. You can’t do anything about people who don’t want to better their lives. There are some people who are comfortable and content with mediocrity.
It is great to see you have had a lot of success!
I am also one of Alex Jeffrey’s students, that is how I found your blog.
I love all the great content you have on your blog. I will be doing a lot of bookmarking and note taking.
Good luck!

Hello! Congratulations on your success with your online business! The statistics are amazing, you are really doing something right. I am sorry to see you are not blogging as much anymore, but I guess it just comes with success, you probably have a lot of responsibilities to take care of with your other projects. You might want to get some guest bloggers to publish articles on this platform, it would be great to keep your existing subscribers and make your readership grow; the guest would bring new readers, and he could get a brand new following out of this deal, and for us it is a refreshing moment and a chance to see another perspective, and learn new tricks.
Anyway, I wish you all the best, Leonard

Hey Sally,
You can show a person how to walk, but it’s up to them to take the first step. It’s sad to see people with a lot of potential who just won’t take action. I think sometimes people start looking too far ahead. They start seeing all this work they’re going to have to do and it freezes them from getting started.
But if you just take it one bite size chunk at a time, take action, and DO SOMETHING it all adds up in the end.
As they say, “How do you eat an elephant?” One bite at a time.
